1. Who is responsible

The controller for the data processing of the English-language information site west-ace.uk.net is the operator WestAce. For data protection enquiries relating to the player lobby at westace.com, the privacy policy published there applies; see also westace.com/en/help-centre.

2. Data we collect on west-ace.uk.net

This information site does not collect credentials and no account data. When you visit the site, the server does automatically process the following log data:

  • truncated IP address (anonymised)
  • date and time of the visit
  • requested URL and HTTP status code
  • transferred data volume
  • referrer URL (where available)
  • browser and operating system in use

These data are used exclusively for security, error diagnostics and statistical analysis, and are automatically deleted after 14 days.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets only strictly necessary cookies - for example, to remember your language preference and to store your cookie choice. There are no tracking, advertising or profiling cookies from third parties. If you follow the /play link across to the operator’s player lobby, the operator’s cookie settings apply there.

4. Data the operator collects in the player lobby

Once you register with the operator WestAce, additional data is collected (email, phone, address, ID, payment method, transaction history, gambling activity, KYC documents). This processing is governed by the operator’s privacy policy, published inside the game environment. Please read that policy before creating an account.

5. Legal basis

Processing of log data is based on our legitimate interest in operating a safe, functional and analysable web site (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Cookies for language and cookie preference are based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) UK GDPR); consent can be withdrawn at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

6. Recipients

Server log data are processed by our hosting provider inside the EU/UK on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 UK GDPR). Data are not transferred to third countries outside the EU/UK.

7. Your rights

You have the following rights under UK GDPR:

  • Right of access - you can request confirmation of whether data is being processed about you, and a copy of that data.
  • Right to rectification - you can request that incorrect data be corrected.
  • Right to erasure - you can request that data be deleted, provided no legal retention obligations apply.
  • Right to restriction - you can request that processing be limited.
  • Right to data portability - you can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to object - you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to lodge a complaint - you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Data security

All data on this site are transmitted over TLS/SSL. Access to server logs is restricted to authorised technical staff at the operator and the hosting provider.

10. Changes to this policy
